This policy describes how RX Tax Experts handles information submitted through this website. It covers website intake and consultation requests. Additional terms governing an accepted tax preparation or accounting engagement will be provided separately.
Information you provide
We collect the contact details, filing type, relevant states, prior-year filing status, notes, and consent you submit. If you choose to upload documents, we receive those files, their filenames, formats, and sizes. Consultation requests include your contact information, topic, callback preference, and optional notes.
Please keep Social Security numbers, bank account numbers, passwords, and payment card details out of free-text notes. Tax documents may contain sensitive information; only submit documents relevant to the services you are requesting.
How we use your information
We use submissions to review your service needs, contact you, identify missing documents, provide an engagement scope and fee quote, and carry out services if you accept an engagement. Submission alone does not authorize tax filing or create an accountant-client engagement. We do not sell your personal information or use your documents for advertising.
Storage, access, and service providers
This website runs on Cloudflare. Contact details, intake records, consultation requests, and uploaded documents are stored in a private Cloudflare R2 bucket. No public document URLs are created. Authorized practice operators access records through the firm’s Cloudflare account. Cloudflare processes technical information as needed to host and protect the site.
If we need to share information with another service provider to perform an agreed engagement, we will explain that workflow. Tax authorities receive returns only through the filing process you separately authorize.
Security and cookies
HTTPS protects information in transit. File uploads use short-lived signed sessions, format and size checks, and rate limiting. The website uses an essential, secure, HttpOnly cookie to associate document uploads with your intake session. It expires after one hour. Form content is not saved to browser local storage. This site does not use advertising or analytics cookies.
No internet service can promise absolute security. Contact us promptly if you believe information was submitted by mistake or accessed without permission.
Retention and your requests
We retain intake information and documents as needed to respond to your request, provide agreed services, and meet applicable recordkeeping obligations. Abandoned and test submissions are reviewed for removal by the practice. You can request access, correction, or deletion by contacting us. We may need to verify your identity and retain records where an existing obligation requires it.
